This post is a short guide on how you can easily find your phone using your Mi Band.
This is useful feature whenever you have misplaced or lost your phone. The striking characteristic of this feature is that even if your phone is on silent mode, it will still ring and find the phone’s location.
Please note that this feature only works if you’ve paired your phone and Mi Band using Bluetooth and the Mi Fitness or Zepp Life App.
If you have not installed Zepp Life App, and paired it with your Mi Band, we have dedicated posts on how to pair your Mi Band with your phone using Zepp Life App and how register for a Zepp Life account. We also have dedicated posts on how to pair your Mi Band with your phone using Mi Fitness App and how register for a Mi Fitness account.
Finally, also note that you will only be able to find your phone if it’s within range your Bluetooth, normally 33 feet or 10 meters.
Step 1: Go to More
On your Mi Band, scroll up the main menu and click on ‘More’, just below the settings icon.
Step 2: Tap on Find Device
Once you have opened the More menu, scroll down to Find device feature, it’s near the bottom of the More menu. Tap on it.
Step 3: Follow Your Ringtone to Find Your Phone
If your phone is connected and paired with your Mi Band, an alarm will set off on your phone, and you can follow the ring tone to find your phone.
We can all attest that we sometimes misplace our phones. The find your phone feature is very useful when you need to find your phone quickly, or simply don’t feel that scouring your whole house for your phone. This is a great feature on my Mi Band that I use often.
